A Bird and a Feather!

Hope you all staying cool?
I think temperatures reached
"102"
around Kentucky, record heat for June.
A good day to stay inside and enjoy the air-condition.

I stamped this card with
Stampin'Up! Nature Walk set on old
book pages. Added a little tag with a feather for the
nature effect and a few rhinestones for the bling.

Really like how it all came together.
What do you think?

My Kentucky Lemon-Tree!

A few weeks ago I bought this little
Lemon Tree at our
local Nursery.
I can remember fresh lemons from
my childhood in Italy,
just going into the yard and picking them
right of the tree.
My aunt making fresh frozen lemonade on hot summer days.
Wonderful memories!
So I thought I give it a try.
After repotting and some TLC
he actually bloomed.

And to my surprise there are
some little Lemons.
Well, they will have some growing to do
before we can make some
LEMONADE!

Oh, Hello Little Visitor!

I'm always excited  when I come across
a critter in our yard.
Well, as long as they stay our of our
veggie patch that is,
oh, and the trash cans of course!

He looked like he was stuck in the mud!
But after a while he happily went his way!

Thanks so much!

A little "Thank you" note
for a friend.
Bird stamp (Hero Art), sentiment (Stampin'Up)
and paper "Fench Flea Market"
 (BellaBella by Carina Gardner).
I just added a little color and a flower,
a quick and easy card
with an elegant look!
