Yellow the color of sunshine!

Hello,
I hope everyone is having a sunshiny
kind of day!
First I would like to thank everyone
who took time to visit my little space during the
"Where Bloggers Create" event and
leaving kind commends!
Thanks!

AH, YELLOW!
What a beautiful color!
The color of sunshine and summer.
I thought what better occasion to celebrate this
cheery color then with a blog post in the
middle of summer.
Here are just a few of my favorite yellow things...
... a gift bag with a sweet little flower.
Stamp from Stampin'Up! set "Yummy".
 Flower is a Pansy punch.
And guess what went into the little gift bag...
... Yes, some homegrown yellow tomatoes.
"Lemon Boy" what a pretty name for a tomato.
A gift for a co-worker who believe it or not
never ever had a yellow tomato.

I made this card a very long time ago,
it's called "Bloom",
still one of my favorite summer cards.
 Flower is a punch.
The background was stamped with flowers and bees
from the Stampin'Up! set "In Full Bloom"
and a chicken wire stamp.
Background panel is also dry embossed.
The wire mesh is from an old window screen.

Just a few more picture from around the yard
and the goodies growing in our veggie patch.
 Homegrown Wax Beans...
 ... and Squash.
 Yellow Lantana ...
 ... and Petunias.
And last but not least my yellow watering can.

I hope my yellow post cheered you up a little
and brought a little sunshine in to your day!
Have a sunshiny day!
Thanks for stopping in!

Where Bloggers Create 2014!

Hello everyone
and
WELCOME to my humble space!
First I would like to  thank Karen Valentine of
for hosting this wonderful event.
THANKS KAREN!!!

WoW, were has the year gone?
Lot's has happened since the last "Were Bloggers Create" event ,
and I'm not sure some of you may remember my last
crafty space ...
... the family study filled with my tubs :(
But yes, HURRAY
Very exciting news!!!
I have for the first time in my life
my very own
"Stamp Room".
A room of my very own, a dream come true.
After many years, many moves all around the world, crafting and creating
on the dinning room table and other locals in the house
making do and never enough space to have a
permanent space for
"My Paper Daisy"
the magic day finally arrived.
Also the day was filled with a little
sadness, see our oldest son just decided to move
to his first own apartment,
and our youngest son inherited brothers bigger bedroom,
well long story short,
a sunny small corner room became vacant
and you guessed right,
I MOVED in!!!
OK, I rambled  on long enough,
HER IT IS!
Every room needs a sign.
I traded the front-yard view with a view of the
back-yard.

Finally a space for the Cricut.

Some of my favorite cards are displayed
 all over the room.
I keep all my firsts, you could say
I'm kind of attached to them.

The newest edition to the room.
My little collection of odds and ends,
treasures I find at flea markets, yard sales
and antique stores.
Oh, I hope you liked what you seen,
it's a work in progress
and I'm loving every minute of it!
One more picture ...
... the semi organized closet.
... work in progress to...
I haven't quiet figured out yet how to get
organized in a way I actually can find my stuff again!

Well I kept you long enough,
so many beautiful spaces to visit,
so many creative people to meet.
Thank you so much for taking time
and stopping by
"My Paper Daisy"

Happy Blog Hopping to you all!

Red White and Blue!

Hello and
WELCOME to
my Red White and Blue post!
With the 4th of July right around the
corner I took the time to create some
Independence Day cards to sent to family and friends.
Well actually, it's the same card just a little different!!!

Stars are cut with the Cricut cartridge
"Plantin School Book".
Sentiment is "Liberty" from Clear Dollar Stamps.

Just a little different.
Some rhinestones, red white and blue,
to add some sparkle.
My Red White and Blue creations
site by site...
... not sure which one I like the best?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope your all have a Safe and
Happy 4th of July!
