Thinking of you and a hint of Spring!

Hello everyone,
hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Today I'm sharing a card I made just because,
well maybe I should say I made it for
someone who needed a bit of cheering up!

Flowers are stamped with Stampin"Up! set "Asian Artistry".
A few rhinestones for a bit of sparkle.
Sentiment was stamped with Stampin"Up! set
"Always in my Thoughts".
Just a little simple card to let someone know I care!
When was the last time you send a card,
just because or
to let someone know you are thinking of them?
Maybe you should!
--
I don't know where you live but here in Kentucky
Mother Nature is having some major Hot-flashes,
I'm not kidding,
we hit the 80th on Friday just to plunge back into
the 30th with flurries on Saturday.
So this will explain the next picture.
When you are not sure winter is over and you are
really want to decorate for St. Patrick's Day!
You just combine the both!
 My Daffodils in full bloom.
 Star Magnolia
I hope they will survive tonight's cold temperatures.

Thank you so much for stopping by,
have a wonderful week!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello
and
Happy Valentine's Day
to everyone!

This years Valentine's Day card
is a little stash buster.
I used odds and ends of scrap paper
to punch out little hearts
and make the banner strips.
And since the last of the cards went out in the
mail over a week ago I think it's
save to reveal
"True Love"
just a few days before the big day!
"True Love" letters are cut with Cricut cartridge
"Victorian Romance".
Red sparkly paper was leftover from a Christmas project.
Little red heart rhinestone for some extra sparkle.
Love using some of my leftover scraps
and if you are like me there is a lot of them, LoL,
mountains in fact!
But I'm proud of myself,
I cleaned the stamp-room  this weekend
and parted with some,
don't worry there is still a hill left!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Wishing you all a
 very
Happy Valentine's Day!

Texas bound!

Hello everyone!
I hope y'all enjoying your weekend?

Hurrah,
I finally sorted through all my pictures
of my little Texas excursion
and here they are.
A lot of them are taken from the moving car,
 sorry,
we had a 4 day deadline,
doing his DITY move from Kentucky to El Paso
and getting me back to Kentucky, LOL!
The crazy things you do for your children!!!
Oh and the Army!!!
 Hello Dallas...
 ... Goodbye Dallas!
 Six Flags over Texas
 Fort Worth
 Can it get any flatter?
Yes, we are still in Texas!
Hurrah, we finally can see the mountains!
 Beautiful!
 What's the hurry?
We just want to get there...
 ...finally, El Paso!
1436 miles and 2 days in the car!

El Paso from the mountain side.
The local vegetation is a bit on the prickly side!

 Beautiful mountain range.
Sadly we didn't had much time for site-seeing
but never the less I had a wonderful adventure,
made great memories
and spend some precious time with my son!
Definitely looking forward to my next visit
to El Paso
hopfully, this time with Hubby
and
 "YES"
we are flying the next time around!

Thanks for stopping by,
hope you enjoyed the picture!
See you next time!
