Hello everyone!
Hope you all had a great start to the week!?
After dragging and I mean literally dragging my heals
for a very long time
I finally got my
Halloween card
DONE!
"Quoth the Raven"
is a background stamp from Stampandous called "Raven",
stamped on recycled brown paper bags.
The bat "Happy Halloween" came from a
Martha Stewart Halloween stamp set.
I added a little purple sparkles to the ravens hat
to give him a touch of magic.
Hope do you like my quick and easy
Halloween card?
I have to admit background stamps are not my favorites to work with.
For some reason it takes mr several tries for the image
to come out right and evenly stamped.
Anyone have a suggestion or a special trick
you would like to share,
how to use large stamps,
so the image comes out nice and clean?
Have a great week!
and
Thanks for stopping by!

No much for stamping solutions from this girl. I never had a lot of luck with huge background stamps. I usually stand and try to press evenly all over the stamp. And still i sometimes stamp them unevenly...ugggh.
ReplyDeleteI think I need stampin 101...teehee
Your card looks great!
Beautiful card, you did an awesome job! I scrapbook, but i don't use stamps too often. When I do use stamps, I stamp on separate paper then add it to the layout, for just that reason.
ReplyDeleteI love your raven stamped on that card.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely job you have made of this.
Thanks for your kind visit Diana!
Have a lovely weekend!

HI Diana! I love your spooky card. Two of my favorite color combinations too! The image of the raven is wonderful. I could learn so much from you : )
ReplyDeleteI love-love that raven! Oh my gosh, is that one stamp? or part of the entire background image? Your card is fabulous :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cheryl! Yes, it is one large background stamp.
DeleteIn a way I like them for my quick and easy projects and in a way I don't because they do not stamp very well for me.
Have a great weekend!
