Winter's Solstice Snowflake Christmas Card

 Hello friends,
hope everyone is having a good week!
Wow, I know I surprised myself,
LoL, 2 posts in 1 week!
I definitely will NOT get a prize for best blogger this year,
in the contrary if there is one to win for
"You fell of the blogger wagon during the wild ride through the pandemic"
I'm probably running for first place.
Anyway, I have been busy and accomplished a few things in the
last few month and I'm hoping to share and
catch up with more new posts over the next few weeks.
And since we are counting down to Christmas
I would like to share our families Christmas Card
"Winter's Solstice Snowflake".
I decided to go with a red/gold and green/silver color pattern
and a snowflake theme this year.
The cards where cut with the Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace
Die of the Month, DOMAPG-NOV19,
Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Circles, S5-431.
Poinsettia and greenery were cut with dies from the
Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month, DOMAPG-NOV20.
And for the first time I used the Foil Quill heat pen with my Cricut Air2
on one of my cards.
I have to admit it was easier then I thought.
The sentiment was hot foiled with the fine heat pen.

I think the card came together right nicely.

I would like to take the opportunity
to thank each and everyone of you for
sticking with me through the ups and downs of blogging.
I hope I will do better in 2021!
Thank you for stopping by.
To you and yours's
a very
Merry Christmas!
Stay safe and healthy!

It sure has been a while!

 Hello everyone!

Wow, it sure has been a while!

It is amazing how time flies even during a pandemic.
Sometimes I think it still should be March when our lives
came to a screeching halt.
I sure have the feeling I been idling since then.
Anyway, with less then 2 weeks left in this year,
it seems there might be a little light at the end of the tunnel.
Or one can hope!!!

So with all the craziness around us I been trying to find
refuge in my little stamp room,
it sure helps to create something beautiful in
a time were our world is turned upside down.
And I have to apologize, this Birthday card was made
quiet a while ago for all my family and friends who
had fall birthdays.

I have to admit I'm in love with Amazing Paper Grace dies by Becca Feeken.
This card was made with Amazing Paper Grace die
Splendid Trilliant (S5-426) and Antiquities Square (S5-396).
Sentiment was stamped with the Stampin!Up Watercolor Trio stamp set,
little flowers and leaves are a combination of punches and the Spellbinders
small die of the month "W
arm Wishes" DOM-DEC18.
Well, what do you think?

I hope you enjoyed looking around
and come back often.
I will try to get my Christmas card posted
sometimes this week but in the
meantime you can visit me on

Thanks for stopping by!
Stay safe and healthy!

Bundle of Joy!

Hello everyone!
Wow, it has been a wile since my last post
and lots of things have happened since.
We have become Grandparents again to a sweet little
baby boy named Joseph in May,
we could not have been happier and
everyone is healthy and doing fine.

Also I decided to take a little break from posting and
social media in general,
working though the pandemic, wearing PPE for 9 hours plus at work
and then again when just hunting for the necessities of life in stores,
cancelling our vacation for the second time this year
as well as the unrest in our country is taking its toll on me.
With all this going on I have not felt very creative lately
but I promise I'm working on getting my MoJo back.
Here are some cards I made over the last few month
for family and friends who welcomed their
"Bundle of Joy"
during this crazy time in our world!
All cards are made with the
Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Grand Arch 3D Card, S6-138 and
the Layered Bundle of Joy, S4-852 die sets.
Flowers are made with the Spellbinders Die of the Month, DOM-007 and
a variety of different pushes.

Lol, one baby boy card in all the sea of pink.

One thing I can say,
it sure has been a baby year
and
if you had a sweet addition to your family
Congratulations to your
"Bundle of Joy".

Thank you for stopping by!
Stay safe and have a great week!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello everyone on this somewhat
different
Mother's Day weekend!
But never the less it will be a beautiful day
don't matter how we celebrate
and for most of us it will be just face time or a phone call
but it sure will be filled with love!
And maybe a little surprise...
...sorry can't tell and will explain in a later post!!!

Today on Mother's Day I would like to share with you the
Mother's Day card I made for my Mama.
Sorry, lots of pictures, please bear with me!

Sentiment was stamped with Papertreyink's Tucked in-Mother, Item #2962.

The card was made with the Spellbinders
Elegant Reveal Shutter Card,
Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month, DOMAPG-FEB20.
I think the card came together beautifully
and I can report my Mom received it in time
and absolutely loved it.

To my Mom, all the Moms, Grandmas
and special women in our lives
 no matter where you are
a very
Happy Mother's Day!

Thank you for stopping by,
have a wonderful week!

May the 4th be with you!

Hello,
I'm hoping everyone is doing alright?!
Sorry it's been a while but if you are like me,
the currant circumstances are really messing up my routine
and it has been hard o find a healthy balance between
still going to work, social distancing, wearing a mask,
the crazy issues at the stores and finding time to be creative.
Who would have thought a year ago that buying toilet paper would
be like finding a needle in a hay stack:(
But anyways,
there is light at the end of the tunnel
and we will make it through this.
I'm so glad I have a healthy stash of paper and yarn
which will keep me busy for quiet a while.
With that said I would like to share with you a card
and some other things I made in a Star Wars theme for
my oldest sons March Birthday.
Star Wars R2-D2,  C-3PO and BB-8 were cut with the Cricut Air 2.
Happy Birthday banner was made with the Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month,
 August 2019, GOM-AUG19
and
the balloons are made with the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month, May 2019, DOM-MAY19.

 Darth Vader cup...
...and last but not least I made him a little sign to hang in his
little cubical at work.
Sorry again, I know Star Wars Day was May the 4th and
I had good intentions but I terribly failed.
Always remember:
Your focus determines your reality!
May the Force be with you!
Thanks for stopping by!

An Easter to Remember!

 Hello
and
Happy Easter to all of you!
Or better we will make it a happy one.
Even so, it will be quiet a bit different this year then any other
and I'm sure it will be one we will remember for years to come.
With shelter in place, social distancing and a lot of places closed
I had a hart time even getting into any kind of Easter routine,
decorating, making and sending cards,
but I snapped out of it
 and
told myself
why should this virus keep me from doing all the things I love!!!
So here is the
"An Easter to Remember" card
and I hope it will brighten your day the same
as it did mine making them.
Back panel was dry embossed with Spellbinders embossing folder called Garden Delight, ES-008
and the big flower oval was cut with the Spellbinders die called Venise Lace, S6-125.
The little flowers were made with different punches and layered.
The bunnies and greenery were part of the Spellbinders large and small
die of the month set for March 2020,
DOML-MAR20 and DOM-MAR20.
Easter egg and sentiment are part of the Spellbinders Glimmer kit for the month of March 2020,
GOM-MAR20.
 What do you think?

Last but not least just a few pictures of the gorgeous
spring flowers blooming on my front porch right now.
Ranunculus, aren't they pretty?

I just love spring, time for renewal,
time to come out of the house after gray and cold winter days,
to get your hands dirty, clean the flower beds, get the garden ready for planting
and I know we can not go anywhere right now
and do what we used to do but
if you are fortunate to have a yard
go outside, look around, get creative or
just listen to the birds.
And always remember #weareinthistogether
oh and wash your hands!!!
With this I would like to wish you and yours
a very blessed Easter!
We will make it through this together!

Oh TWOdles!

Hello
and Happy Sunday to you all!
Just a short little post today,
the weather is absolutely gorgeous around here
and I'm ready to go out and do some spring cleanup in the yard.

Today I want to share another February birthday card with you all.
Our Queen Bee aka Grand Baby No. 1 turned TWO
and as you can see, she wanted a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party
and Meemaw delivered.
Minnie was made out of  3 simple circles cut with the Cricut.
Number 2 was cut with the Cricut as well and
the bow I just free styled.
Happy Birthday was cut with the Spellbinders
Large Die of the Month February, DOM-FEB18.
Just a simple little card which I think turned out really cute.
And while I was playing with the Cricut I thought of
this little Birthday Memory Board.
You can make this any size you want or with any material you have laying around,
mine was just recycled cardboard, leftover snippets of paper, small clothespins,
add a few cute pictures and voila!

Thank you so much for stopping by,
I hope you liked the post
and come back often for more craftzy inspirations!
Have a wonderful week!

Flowers in Winter!

Hello and
Happy Sunday to all!
Today I would like to share with you
the Birthday cards I made for
family and friends which had a birthday in the month of February.
And since the weather in February is still cold and dreary,
I thought some flowers and bright colors are in order
to brighten up everyone's day.
Say hello to
"Flowers in Winter".

Antiquities square was cut with the Spellbinders die S5-396,
Doily layer was cut with Spellbinders die "Brillante Rondelle", S4-991,
the flowers and leaves are made with variety of punches and the Spellbinders
Die of the Month DOM-007.
The Happy Birthday sentiment was made with the Spellbinders
Glimmer kit of the Month GOM-FEB19.
What do you think,
what is your favorite color pink, orange or just plain white?
I know, I had a hard time deciding too,
so I just made a few of each color.
And if you had a Birthday this month
"Happy Birthday to you"!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!
