Have a Wicked ...

... Halloween!
It's been a busy weekend getting all my
Halloween treats done for
family and friends.
And thanks to my great blog friend
Cheryl over at
I had a wickedly good time creating these
wonderful witches shoes.
Thanks, Cheryl for giving my this wonderful Idea!!!
Please hop on over to Cheryl's blog and take a look
at her wonderful creations!
You can find the witches shoe template at
After cutting and scoring the shoe I dry embossed them
to give the shoe a leathery look.
The tag was stamped with Stampin'Up!
"Wicked Cool" stamp set.
Treat basket for my husbands wickedly sweet co-workers!
 My quick and easy "BOO-Banner"!
And when I say quick and easy,
I really mean quick and easy!
Everything was cut with my
Cricut machine and
the "Happy Hauntings" cartridge.
Just add some halloween pictures, patterned  paper,
cardboard  and glue it all together..
...I LOVE quick and easy!!!

Thanks for stopping in!
Wishing everyone a
Wickedly Wonderful Halloween
and
for all of you who are in the way of "Sandy"
please stay safe!

Quoth the Raven!

Hello everyone!
Hope you all had a great start to the week!?
After dragging and I mean literally dragging my heals
for a very long time
I finally got my
Halloween card
DONE!
"Quoth the Raven"
is a background stamp from Stampandous called "Raven",
stamped on recycled brown paper bags.
The bat "Happy Halloween" came from a
Martha Stewart Halloween stamp set.
I added a little purple sparkles to the ravens hat
to give him a touch of magic.

Hope do you like my quick and easy
Halloween card?
I have to admit background stamps are not my favorites to work with.
For some reason it takes mr several tries for the image
to come out right and evenly stamped.
Anyone have a suggestion or a special trick
you would like to share,
how to use large stamps,
so the image comes out nice and clean?

Have a great week!
and
Thanks for stopping by!

It's good to be back home...

... but I'm sure missing the warmer temperatures and our walks on the beach.
Sorry, I don't have a card or creation to share this week.
I had good intensions though,
packed with my newest knitting project (a scarf), some crochet yarn, books
and magazines (I really wanted to read) I set out a week ago on vacation to
North Redington Beach, Florida.
Oh ya right, what was I thinking???
It would rain all week!!
Well this wonderful beach chair was my camp-out spot for the week,
weapon with my camera, lots of sunscreen lotion and
numerous trips up and down the white sandy beach
not much knitting was going on.
But I sure had a good time taking all those pictures.
Here are just a few...

... hope you enjoyed looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Nature on the Gulf Coast is breathtaking and we had a wonderful time
just sitting back and soacking it all in.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
