Oh TWOdles!

Hello
and Happy Sunday to you all!
Just a short little post today,
the weather is absolutely gorgeous around here
and I'm ready to go out and do some spring cleanup in the yard.

Today I want to share another February birthday card with you all.
Our Queen Bee aka Grand Baby No. 1 turned TWO
and as you can see, she wanted a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party
and Meemaw delivered.
Minnie was made out of  3 simple circles cut with the Cricut.
Number 2 was cut with the Cricut as well and
the bow I just free styled.
Happy Birthday was cut with the Spellbinders
Large Die of the Month February, DOM-FEB18.
Just a simple little card which I think turned out really cute.
And while I was playing with the Cricut I thought of
this little Birthday Memory Board.
You can make this any size you want or with any material you have laying around,
mine was just recycled cardboard, leftover snippets of paper, small clothespins,
add a few cute pictures and voila!

Thank you so much for stopping by,
I hope you liked the post
and come back often for more craftzy inspirations!
Have a wonderful week!

Flowers in Winter!

Hello and
Happy Sunday to all!
Today I would like to share with you
the Birthday cards I made for
family and friends which had a birthday in the month of February.
And since the weather in February is still cold and dreary,
I thought some flowers and bright colors are in order
to brighten up everyone's day.
Say hello to
"Flowers in Winter".

Antiquities square was cut with the Spellbinders die S5-396,
Doily layer was cut with Spellbinders die "Brillante Rondelle", S4-991,
the flowers and leaves are made with variety of punches and the Spellbinders
Die of the Month DOM-007.
The Happy Birthday sentiment was made with the Spellbinders
Glimmer kit of the Month GOM-FEB19.
What do you think,
what is your favorite color pink, orange or just plain white?
I know, I had a hard time deciding too,
so I just made a few of each color.
And if you had a Birthday this month
"Happy Birthday to you"!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!

Gnome Love!

Hello everyone
and welcome to a post all about
"Gnome Love".
Yes I jumped on the bandwagon and joined Gnomemenia,
but to my defense who can resist those adorable little bearded fellows?
Just saying!
And if you have been following me on Instagram
you already know I fell quiet hard for the Gnomies.
So to top it all of I decided on a Gnome themed
Valentines Day Card this year,
so say hello to
"Gnome Love".
Gnome was cut with the Simon Says Gnome die - sssd112037
and the background was dry embossed with the Sizzix 3-D  embossing folder - 663201.
The heart balloons are made with the Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month January 2020,
GOM-JAN20
Love sentiment is also made with the January Glimmer Kit.
 Love my Gnomie.
So what do you think,
can Gnomie melt your heart?

Thank you for stopping by,
hope you have a sweet and happy
Valentines Day!

A Warm Winter Thank you!

Hello
and
welcome to the first post of the new year.
I hope everyone had a great start to the new year,
we sure did and after a few well deserved vacation days
we are all back to work and our daily routine.
I used the time between the holidays do get busy in the stamp room
and design a "Thank you" card
for all the lovely gifts we received.
This year I decided on a beautiful snowflake card
even so it sure dose not feel like winter around here, LoL,
actually we are having severe thunderstorms, high wind and
flash flood warnings as we speak.
Mother nature gone a little mad in Kentucky.
So with all the craziness going on outside
I would like to share with you my
snowflake inspired thank you card.
And I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that we don't  loss electricity
before I'm done with this post.
Snowflake was cut with the Spellbinders
small die of the month, November 2019, DOM-NOV19.
The sentiment was done with the Spellbinders glimmer kit of the month,
February, GOM-FEB19
and then punched out with a Stampin'Up! punch.
What do you think?
I hope you liked my simple little thank you card
and maybe I inspired you
to send a little snowflake to someone you love.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
To next time!

Peace, Love and Joy!

Hello everyone
and sorry,
I know it has been a while since I last wrote
but all is well and I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things
and give my little neglected bog a bit more attention in the new year.
But to my excuse I have been busy crafting for Christmas
and if you follow me on Instagram you probably know
what I have been up to while absent from blog world.

Today I would like to share with you the two different cards I made for
this years Christmas.
The first one is called "Peace-Love-Joy".
 Card was made with:
Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace-Die of the Month, DOMAPG-Nov18, for the large frame,
Spellbinders APG Reindeer Prance Layering set, S4-1005 and the
Magnolia Doohickeys, Spruce, DOOH-SCD11, for the little trees.

Snowflake was cut with the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month, DOM-NOV19,
Kaleidoscope Snowflake.

Sentiment was stamped with Papertreyink stamp set #2424, stylish sentiments: Holiday.
What do you think?
Red or blue, which one is your favorite?

And the second card I made is called
"Naughty or Nice", lol,
a lot of giggles went into this one!
Reindeer was cut with Spellbinders Large Die of the Month, DOML-NOV19,
Santa's Helpers and Spellbinders die, Santa's Reindeer, S3-396.
Sentiment was made with the Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month, GOM-NOV19.
Envelope was stamped with the TPC Studio stamp set
 "Christmas Expressions"
and the sentiment on the inside of the card is a
Spellbinders Fun Stampers Journey stamp set called
 "Tinsel Tangle", AT-0357.
May I ask!?
Did you make the nice list?

Glad you stopped by
and sorry again for the delayed posting,
I promise I will do better,
at least that is one of my New Years resolutions!!!
From the bottom of  my heart
""Thank you So Much""
for supporting my humble little blog
and as this year is drawing to an end
I would like to wish everyone a
very Happy New Year,
may 2020 bring you joy, happiness
and good fortune!

Thank you
and have a wonderful day!

Happy Haunting!

Hello everyone
and
welcome to the first blog post in quiet a while.
No I haven't giving up on being crafty, blogging
and social media, I just needed a bit of time of to concentrate on my
mental and physical health and step away from all the craziness
going on in the crafts world and social media.
So with that said I'm back and
I have a few treats
for you today,
one is a new Halloween card and as some of you
know around this time of year I'm a bit obsessed with
knitting and crocheting pumpkins.
Have fun looking around,
sorry the post is a bit picture heavy.
 My 2019 Halloween card.
Stamp is a Tim Holtz--Stampers Anonymous stamp set
called Halloween Cutouts--HC018.
Frame was cut with the Cricut cartridge "Happy Haunting"
and
the tree came from the Cricut cartridge " Chic & Scary".
Pumpkins are Martha Stewart punches and all the leaves
are cut with the Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Thinlits--660955.
A bit of cheese cloth for a spooky effect.

 What do you think?
Is it spooky enough for little ghosts and goblins?
Last but not least a few pictures of my pumpkins.
This one I crocheted with velvet yarn and he is super soft.
My favorite one so far, love the cable pattern.
 A little touch of sparkle.
Hope I didn't go overboard with all the pictures?
Fall is one of my favorite seasons,
not just because of Halloween but mostly because of the absolute
amazing colors mother nature likes to show off,
look around, you can get a lot of inspiration from the beauty of nature.

Wishing you a safe and
Happy Halloween!
Thank you so much for stopping in!
To next time!

The Sun, the Sea and the Little Mermaid!

Hello
and happy weekend to you all!
I'm hoping you are staying cool and safe
with temperatures reaching the triple digits this weekend.
For me the best way to escape the heat is a trip to the lake,
my little quiet place, just 10 minutes from the house,
and the reason I been a bit absent from
social media and my little blog.
Sorry everyone but I decided to take up Kayaking this year
and I'm in love,
I promise I will get better in posting as soon as the weather turns cooler!
But with that said, all the time spend on the water
inspired me to make a
Little Mermaid card.
It has been a while I used the Cricut machine but
I found the most adorable little Mermaid on the
"Life is a Beach" cartridge which was just perfect for this project.
The size of the Mermaid depends on the size of your card,
I cut mine at 4.5 inches for a small card and decided to paint
the Mermaid tail with glitter paint for a bit of sparkle.

Plant was cut with Spellbinders Die of the Month, Month 7, DOM-007
and the little seashell was cut with the Recollection cut and emboss die, 542693.
So what do you all think,
ready to escape to the lake and
find some relief from the heat?
Sadly no, I have not seen a Mermaid yet,
but one can hope and dream!

Thanks for stopping in,
have a wonderful weekend,
stay safe in the heat!
To next time!
