Mudpie!

Hello everyone,
hope you all are enjoying
Memorial Day
and
the unofficial start to summer!
It actually feels like summer around her
and I'm very glad,
after the last few weeks of cold and rainy weather
we really needed some sunshine!
Well with graduation behind us
and "Yes" it was cold, rainy and outside,
with one word
it was a MUDDY-MESS,
I'm hoping to get things back on track
in my stamp-room.
I'm not sure you can see but there is a muddy trail going and
he is wearing is camouflage rubber boots,
LOL, graduation fashion statement!

After all this muddy mess I thought it would be a good time
to show off my
 "Mudpie"
House-Mouse Birthday card!
Stamp "Cupcake Come" from Stampendous! House-Mouse Design.
 Just a little sparkle!

Sweet little Mudpie!
Just loving the adorable little critters from House-Mouse Design,
they are a little mischievous too!

Thanks for stopping by and looking around!
Hope you all having a
great sunshiny week!

Almost time for...

... yes,
it's almost here...
...GRADUATION!!!
Hello everyone,
just a few more days and
our last child will be
graduating.
Exited and a little sad
but
we are very proud of the
young man he has become!
Congratulations
to all the
2016 Graduates!

 I also have to apologize,
with all the graduation excitement and preparations
I'm running a little late on posting.
Sorry!
I have a few projects in the making but
hardly had time to get them finished .
Well, here is a little sign I seen,
I think someone posted it on Facebook,
I totally fell in Love with it and had to have one!
This is my version of it!
 "Loving Louisiana".
The little red rhinestone marks my favorite spot
"St. Tammany Parish".
 Fleur de lis.
Louisiana was cut with the Cricut cartridge "50 States"
and the letters came from Cricut cartridge "Sophisticated".
Yes, I love Louisianna!!!

Thanks everyone for stopping by and taking a peek!

Congratulations to the class of 2016,
good luck in your future adventures,
may all your dreams come true,
never give up on them
and
live life to the fullest!

Pineapple Shopping Bag!

Hello
and
Happy Sunday to you all!
Since the weather is
absolutely fabulous today
and I have to catch up on some yard work,
I will keep this post short and sweet.

On my latest shopping trip to Michaels I came
across some new unusual yarn, not yet sure what to do with it
I bought it anyway.
In a way I'm not even sure you can call it yarn,
Bernat Maker Home Dec is definitely different from
what I usually use to knit or crochet with.
Up for the challenge and a bit of searching on Pinterest
I came across the perfect pattern.
A crocheted Pineapple Shopping bag!
I used the pattern from the "Dolce Vita" site.
I just printed the two instruction sheets and
I promise you they are very easy to follow
even so they are not in English!!!
I recommend to enlarge the pattern before printing!
You can also find an English version on
With the variegated yarn the pattern doesn't really
show very well.
Loving my new jumbo size shopping bag!
 Pineapple close-up.
I chose Bernat Maker Home Dec "Pebble Beach Verg." for my bag,
the yarn sales in various colors one prettier then the other.

  Thanks for stopping by,
hope you liked my new pineapple bag
and maybe I got you inspired to crochet your own!
Have a wonderful weekend!

On Safari in Louisiana!

Hello everyone
and
welcome to the
"Daisy" gone to the wild side
or
for a little visit to the
in Folsom, La.
What a fabulous place, it's like going on safari in Africa
but you are actually in Louisiana.
900 acres, over 4000 animals and
a 1.5 hour guided tour in a covered wagon.
And believe me it will get up close and personal!!!

 And off we go!
It feels like the great migration is happening right here.
 I know you have some,
don't hold beck ...
 ... fill it up now...
... yes Mam, keep on pouring!!!
 Sweet baby zebra.
One of my favorites, the very handsome giraffes.
 And the wild ride continues.
 Hello y'all, any food left?
 Pretty babies and proud mamas.

Yes you can feed them to, just watch them horns,
they get a little wild on occasion.
Bonnie the Camel.
What an amazing adventure!

I took over 130 pictures and had a hard time
to narrow it down to just a few for this post
but I hope you can see what a beautiful place the
Just one hint,
BUY THE FAMILY SIZE BUCKET OF FEED,
you will need it!!!
We did the souvenir cups and ran out of food right
at the first feed stop,
believe me those zebras are bottom less holes and very demanding,
thank god we could buy refiles and fill the demand!
Lesson learned!
The Hubs and I decided we had so much fun
we will be back for another visit.

I hope you had fun visiting my wild blog post.
Thanks for taking time and stopping by!

Bunnies, Bunnies...

...Bunnies everywhere!
Hello
and
"Happy Easter"
to you!
I hope you like "Bunnies"!?
It seams I went a little overboard on
Mr. Cottontail this Easter season, sorry,
I just couldn't help myself!
Well are you ready to take a hop down
my Bunny trail?

I found these adorable Hoppers on Pinterest
and just had to try one or two.
Pattern from "The Little Fabric Blog".
Some of these bright colored bunnies
will adorn my Easter baskets this year.
The crochet flowers came from my little stash
of embellishments
I usually make and use for my cards.

Next, my shabby chic bunny box.
This used to be an old bunny shaped cardboard candy box
my Mamma sent me years ago from Germany.
Sadly the candy is long gone but I held on to the box because
of it's unique shape.
Decoupaged with old book pages, in french of course
and more crochet flowers.
I have been playing with different crochet flower patterns lately to find out
which will work best for cards and other projects.
Most of the flowers you can find on my Pinterest Board
"Crochet Flowers".
Butterfly's and flower stems are Stampin'Up! Thinlits.

"Spring time in Paris" maybe I need to put that on
my Bucket list!!!
Stamp "I Love Paris" from Stampendous!
I hope you are not tired of bunnies yet?
Because there is one more to go!
 Yes,
even the "Easter Card" sports a Bunny this year!
This adorable bunny is one of the "Happy Hoppers" from
Stampendous!
The purple egg is layered.
 Some rhinestones for some sparkle.
I went a little wild on the colors this year but
I think it came together fairly well.

Hurray, you made it to the end of this crazy bunny adventure!
Thank you so much for stopping in
and taking a hop down the Bunny Trail with me!

I would like to wish you and your family
"Happy Easter"
and
baskets full of Easter eggs,
especially the chocolate fertility!

Losing an Hour!

Hello and
happy spring forward
Sunday to you all!
I sure like the idea of having more daylight hours but
it will take me awhile getting use to the time change.
It always gives me the feeling I'm  running behind!
I know, whats new, I'm always running behind
so another hour shouldn't make a big difference.

I recently discovered my small addiction to
"Art Impressions" stamps.
Yes, they are a bit different from my usual vintage
inspired cards, but they are tons of fun.
Well, here is the Birthday I made for my
sweet girlfriend, who you guessed it right
"Loves Wine"!
 Hampton Art "Art Impressions".
Stamps work well with mix and match pattern
and bright colored paper.
Everything goes, just let your imagination go wild.
Love using paper scraps for a bit more beSaz!
Some rhinestones for the extra sparkle!
 "Wine gets better with age...
we get better with wine!" --
sentiment on the inside of the card.
Are you ready to go a little wild with "Art Impressions"?

Spring has sprung in my flower boxes...
 and front porch.
The big yellow egg is lit at night, ready for Easter!

Last but not least,
I'm still playing with the knitted bracelets.
This beauty is adorned with two vintage buttons
I found at an Antique market.
 Loving the sparkle!

Thank you so much for stopping by
I hope you liked what you seen
and come back often!
Wishing you a wonderful and creative week!
